BIOGRAPHY
1981: Established Ron Scheiderer & Associates,
the private investigative firm
which he still heads today.
1977: Appointed by the Ohio Attorney General to coordinate
the Ohio Peace Officer's Training Council for Central Ohio.
1974: Commended by the Buckeye State Sheriff's
Association for his contributions to law enforcement excellence. He also
received this honor in 1976 and 1978.
1973:
Recipient of the J. Edgar Hoover Award
for his distinguished contributions to law enforcement.
1972: Elected Sheriff of Marion County, a position
he held for two terms.
1969: Joined the Marion County Sheriff's Department as a
Deputy.
1967: Began law enforcement career as an officer of the Ohio State
Highway Patrol.
Received education in law enforcement at The University
of Southern California, The University of Maryland, and The Ohio State
University.
Appointed by the Governor of the State of Ohio to serve
as a Commissioner on the Ohio Private Investigators Advisory Board. Founding
member of the Buckeye State Association
of Private Investigators.
He has twice served as its President and is currently
a member of the Board of Directors.
He is also recipient of their "Investigator
Of The Year" award.
