SURVEILLANCE

Surveillance, i.e., watching and following someone, is used to determine and document the activities of a subject, the classic case being a spouse suspected of infidelity, but other examples include a spouse ignoring child visitation guidelines, or employees acting inappropriately while on the job.

The investigator keeps a written log of all activity which is witnessed. Often technology is also used to further document what occurs, e.g., photography, video, or Global Positioning Satellite (GPS) records (used to track vehicles). The investigator is then available to testify if needed in court, and such documentation might then be entered as evidence.

If you need only some tips on how to conduct your own surveillance you may want to consider an inexpensive consultation with an RSA investigator instead of a full investigation. Call today for details at 740-383-1165.
